Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has a mission of strengthening the United States’ security through development and application of world-class science and technology. LLNL works to: enhance the nation’s defense; reduce the global threat from terrorism and weapons of mass destruction; and respond with vision, quality, integrity and technical excellence to scientific issues of national importance. The postdoc program at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory provides opportunities for postdocs to conduct world-class research in an exciting, diverse, and often interdisciplinary environment. Postdocs at the Laboratory are involved in basic science as well as applied science and technology for both research and development.

This webinar will provide an overview of LLNL and it’s research before focusing in on the institutional postdoc program and the advantages of being a postdoc at a national laboratory. The Director of the Postdoc Program and LLNL postdocs will be available to answer questions.
